It's almost here! Timken High School's All School Read will begin March 26 and continue through April 5. Our book choice is, Tears of a Tiger, written by Sharon Draper! We are looking forward to two weeks of reading and discussing this book together as a learning community.

I LIKE THE BOOK ALOT BECAUSE I FELT THAT WAY ONCE IN MY LIFE I EVEN TRYED TO KILL MYSELF BUT I REALIZED THAT ME SEEING THE REST OF MY LIFE WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO THE PERSON I LOSED THAN GOING WHERE THEY ARE IT WASNT MY TIME YET.

I thought the book Tears of a Tiger was very well written. The realism in the book was amazing it was as if the writer had lived the story line.The story is filled with suspense and had me in tears ( no pun intended ) while getting near the end. I love how the author created several points of view throughout the story it really let me grasp how everyone was feeling. * spoiler * Then end of the story had me wondering if anything could have been done to stop Andy from committing suicide. while reading the book i felt as if i was in the story.
